One Mans Take Over Of The Bristol Press Facebook Page

BRISTOL – Apparently Brian Cohen is in the process of shooting a documentary related to the death of Andrew McClain. For the past month he has been relentlessly posting detailed comments on The Bristol Press Facebook Page including claims about Michael Suchopar. The Press responded but Cohen continues to post his commentaries.

  • From The Bristol Press Facebook Page.
  • Greeting Bristol Press and its primary editor.
From my understanding, this paper is basically privately owned and congratulations on the ownership for taking on such an admirable endeavor. Thats really something cool and I hope respect the efforts of people trying to actually create something that builds community..
I have figured out who I would like to speak and turn over a portion of public State records so that we can say no one was tossed under a bus. The events to See More

  • General Question
If you read that last post about how sometimes there are just 3 types of people ? Well that 1st group stands up for your kid because your kid actually matters to these people.
Why the name with the number ? Well I myself know what its like to have to stand up and put my name to the allegations that not only put everyday people at risk, but violated the “guaranteed rights ” I have done that part 4 times and each substantiated by the STate of Connecticut. See More

Why the name with the number ? Well I myself know what its like to have to stand up and put my name to the allegations that not only put everyday people at risk, but violated the "guaranteed rights " I have done that part 4 times and each substantiated by the STate of Connecticut. Once with DCF prior to the Death of Andrew and then after 6 months of resigning in protest, 3 in a row . And each resultiong in a meaningless corrective plan of action.
Multiple Choice
How many times should a person stand up for your child?
Which is the Correct Answer ?
A. Never Your kid is not worth losing my possible promotion.
B. None. These rights are "Guaranteed by Somebody " so there is no need to put my hand out for that kid.
C. Once. Things do go wrong and sometimes even the best leaders gets screwed by their own people.
D. As many times as is necessary. For some, your kid is worth protecting when you yourself can't be there.
E. All of the above
4 x times the allegations came back substantiated.. So Editors of the Bristol press, how many times have you stood up for your neighbor's child.. Its a fair question as you are community leaders yourselves.. Who put forth news to inform the public, hence your word is important. Thanks for your time. PS Don't forget,, There is a huge difference between having to work in a difficult field and being one of the reasons why the field is difficult.. Leadership matters. And Michael Suchopar is no leader and he is definitely being given an open invitation to teach his "solution focused " mumbo jumbo for this documentary.

The 2nd group is the super majority and they wish they could.. The fact is standing up is quite scary and standing up for your neighbor's child has a price... You can't always blame people for looking the other way... especially if they also have kids of their own.. It must hurt to be a parent that cares about your child and then knowingly short change other people's kids ? What happens if they stand up and run into a bunch of Ryan Braun's who lie and make up sh*t ?
Then there is the 3rd group.. OMG.. These people simply suck... This group looks you in the face and tells you all about how they care ? Bernie Madoff type people to their core... Human Nature has some strange settings and sorry to break the news, but these people don't care about you either.
This question is really meant for the "editor's of the Bristol Press. " as its not fair to ask it of the entire workforce.
Why the name with the number you gave me is because I don't know what kind of people you are. Almost everyone will tell you that they would stop harm from happening to your child, but some are really just lying to your face like you are stupid ? Its not problem to understand those of the 2nd group but that 3rd group ? Michael Suchopar is in that far end of that 3rd group and a name from the Bristol Press to go with that number means that at least some of Editors are in at least in the 2nd group of people.

I will only post up here through thursday.. I just want to make sure you were given the option to maintain your mission statement… I don’t throw people under a bus.

If you were not around to take care of your child, would you want people to stand up for your kid or not ?

What is your definition of a sociopath ? Just curious..
I find it hard to fathom that Michael Suchopar hands out awards to people ? If there is a hell special for liars and those who throw others under a bus, Mikey's in for a ride.. Last just for everyone's knowledge, my mom was bi polar and I did get the experience of having to move 22 times between 5 and 18.. If it was not for the State and assistance, my mom and I would not have been able to survive at all. There are so many fine people who work at the State and even some of them are left scratching their heads. Sadly, my mom also had multiple suicide attempts and more than one attempt could be blamed on corrupt pill pushing doctors who exploit other's with no voice.. You see, this for me is something I grew up with and there is no way in hell that when it I go before what I believe happens after we pass, am I going to say that I ran away a coward and left people like my mom under a bus.. When in a fight like this, there are a few ways to separate yourself from people who like in the Bridge Gate Scandal, could not care less about you or your kid. Say what u want about me, I am only focused on the mentality that got the State of Connecticut a shame it did not deserve. Oh yeah, a couple of people died too.
I also believe that there is no way a large hiring committee interviewed da Sooch and knew any of what you are reading. The leadership of the National Boys and Girls Clubs of America would never knowingly hire a liar who throws people under a bus...

I wonder if Mikey thought of me as he signed this correction plan regarding the facilities failure in respect other people's children.. Don't forget, if you had fancy insurance, your kid was right next to Andrew McClain...
Da Sooch states on the next page that he "will assure compliance with policies and procedures." What are the odds do you ask that less than a week later, Michael Suchopar is called to provide "LEADERSHIP" to the nursing supervisor who is voicing her concerns related to patient rights ? What about his assurance to DPH ? What about professional courtesy between acting RN's ? What about standing up for your child ? Never mind Leadership questions, seriously, What kind of "man " is da Sooch ?
Fate is a funny thing and this is not old news rehashed, but instead the completion of a circle.. ex Gov Rowland is part of this same equation...

DPH at first was like anyone else and that's part of human nature.. Anyone who honestly knows what its like to stand up for something has to deal with the eye rolls and disbelief.. Such is life.. But luckily for some keys issues that should matter to us all, "fate is a funny thing ."
I think that all the DHP people I got meet were pretty cool.. Who knows what happened to them with life, but they got to know that some citizens do believe in them and do understand that sometimes the State does hire some very corrupt people who have no problem lying..
Apparently some people only pretend to believe that whole, "don't bear false witness " or lie to people like they are stupid or something...
After seeing what a joke the first consent decree actually was, I informed by DPH that only allegations with my name attached could be investigated... I said fine, I crossed the Rubicon a ways back. I stated that I was going to prove what a joke people like Michael Suchopar think of you by bringing forth by name, 3 allegations in row... Each involving the same subject matter.. I figured that if a kid being crushed to death on your watch won't do it, then nothing the State will either.. Here is the one allegation letter back to me and the corrective Plan of Action submitted and signed by Michael Suchopar.

What do you think.. I am not sure why the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club voted unanimously for Michael Suchopar to be of their feelings towards your children, but I do know that its a real possibility not all were given the facts prior to voting.. And why no search of even his history ?
Why do this publicly ? Its because people like Michael Suchopar and a few others simply have no shame.. They have this ability to look you in the face and lie you as if you are stupid or something.. Who knows, maybe we all are, but as far as I am concerned, there is no statue of limitations on leadership. So no closed door meetings this time... This is about how to Guarantee the Rights of all of us. And it appears that the Rights are only guaranteed in the end, by the people whose rights they are... Its voting season so listen to your hearts and less about political affiliation.
One of the primary tools used by these negative people , is to constantly whine, " Nobody Cares" so why should I..
Well anybody's kid could have been Andrew McClain that day and there are those who actually stand up for your children. And then there are those who make their money off of them.
Here is my resignation letter, do you think they were confused? Next will be the state's documents showing Suchopar's repeatedly failed corrective plans of action.

  • Why should anyone bother looking out for your kid ?
Its obviously a shame for us all that Andrew Died but when bad things happen to everyday people, there sometimes is a reason..
Most people do not realize that the DCF was aware of problems with the Elmcrest Children’s Unit back in May 97… There was an actual substantiated complaint against Suchopar’s Saybrook Unit, ( a mix of children between private health providers and all ranges of DCF children )

Most people do not realize that the DCF was aware of problems with the Elmcrest Children's Unit back in May 97... There was an actual substantiated complaint against Suchopar's Saybrook Unit, ( a mix of children between private health providers and all ranges of DCF children )
I made that report as a Mandated Reporter..
I worked the Adult / Adolescent Unit and was cutting through the children's unit. I ended up going home and calling DCF... I tried to do this without giving my name.. Its a small field ya know ?
But with the seriousness and the fact that I had already been a strong patient / parent and worker advocate before, I reluctantly gave my name... I thought the hospital would end up having to maintain the "guaranteed by the State of Connecticut Patient Rights " It never happened.
I still can't figure that out, but the acute aspect of the complaint was clearly addressed but with out addressing the root cause, it was only a matter of time...
I openly started to Boycott the children's and when I did work extra shifts, I enjoyed working with those children.
I would play catch and that's a great way to gain rapport.

Ironically regarding those Patient Rights, they were explained and signed as a written agreement for at least the minimum services Guaranteed by somebody.. I was one of many who did sign those and like many, I was one who stood up for your kid just like I would hope you would do for your neighbors kid.

The Last time I spoke to Mikey Suchopar at Elmcrest / St Francis was 2 - 3 weeks prior to Andrew's Accidental Death. I was trying to mediate the differences that had arose when a well liked Rn, who was standing up for everyone's child against the unneeded transfer of a murder suspect / convicted sex offender to a unit with children. It came to the point were we basically crossed the Rubicon.. After years of dealing with this clown, I started to discuss the incident that I ended up reporting to DCF..
I spoke all about the incident and watched Mikey's head bob up and down ....I thought about the lame rationale he came up with for moving the sex offender / murder suspect to sleep on the unit I worked and then I said it..
I said, Michael, I am the one who reported us to DCF... I told the State because its only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt..
He looked back at me with the expression of someone just sitting there and relieving themselves in their pants..
I got up and left..

Most people do not know that on 2/ 10 / 98, during a cross shift meeting, the staff, ya know, the little people, were in a meeting trying to come together and keep people safe.. WE figured that now that we had become part of St Francis, things would be different.. Non profit, Catholic Cross, etc..... But Nope.
On March 21st, I came to work and saw this little black kid sleeping on a crappy mattress on the floor, in middle of the unit.. Not sure how many of you can sleep like that, under bright lights and all the noise.. But a couple of days of poor REM sleep and certainly, combined with no program and a slew of other obstacles... People get cranky.. That kid should have never been admitted and certainly deserved his rights once he was...
I was aggravated all shift.. The procedure of manipulating our census was called , " sleepers " and Andrew was a Sleeper..
Then the next morning Andrew got up and the rest is history. It took until May 1st 98, when Mikey Suchopar finally stopped violating the rights of your children. But only to figure out another way...
I went forward as part of the Corporate Compliance that St Francis made Elmcrest people sign as part as you know, if only those elmcrest people knew what they were doing..
Of many things discussed, was confidentiality and the removal of Michael Suchopar for incompetence and the overwhelming lack of concern for the patients, the parents , the taxpayer and the staff.. This guys a lying fraud and he can not lead..
Here is the letter sent to Elmcrest HR...
Take the lead Bristol Press.. I will call you only if you give me a name.. Thanks and don't forget, it a people program, not a political one.

The lessons of a decent leader are not to lie , throw others under a bus and find yourself a wife who is the "secretary to the mayor" so you can get another job that lets you pretend you care about other people when they are feeling weak.
I am willing to come down to Bristol and discuss these matters in any public forum to which the fine people of Bristol can freely attend. Thank You and Have a Nice Day

here is what I would rather be doing.... here is what I was doing.... Please enjoy something that was made as a gift for everyone.... Bristol Press, please private message me on the page of the person to which I should converse...
After the death of Andrew, I refused to speak to Michael Suchopar. Instead I found myself with the Chief Administrative Officer / COO of St Francis and its Director of Nursing... Ironically these people for some reason had the same mindset of Michael Suchopar and did not care about the client, the parents or the staff.. Some issues are nothing more than lifting a finger and when you can't do that ???
Also at this time, Super Star State Attorney turned DCF Commissioner Regaglia was involved in the activities that not only would put people in jail, but bring doing newly re elected Gov Rowland.. For those not informed, Regaglia turned on her "associates " and somehow Regaglia made it back to lead a fraud division ? After her grand jury testimony was leaked, Gov Rell rightly stood up for the State of Connecticut and along with many people from both sides of the political fence, they tried to hold a hearing and try to figure out how to get rid of Regaglia. But she did us all a favor and resigned. How ironic that Rowland made national news yet again ? How is it that we keep having to deal with the same people over and over ? Do we not have anyone better ?
Fate being a funny thing ? March 22, 1998, Andrew Dies
March 1999, I am meeting with the Director of ST Francis Nursing and acting Elmcrest Director of Nursing about our blatant violations... March 22, 2000.. After quitting in protest in August of 1999, I was claimed to be an authority problem with the management ? ( who was violating your rights ? Me or them ? ) So on March 22, 2000, after informing the DPH that I would see this hospital cited 3 times in a row and for the same thing... And then actually doing that to prove how meaningless the rights really are, the Courant published the first article... Next was good bye mikey.. It made national news and 24 hour cable. ST Francis said that it was a new day and that the changes were made for safety.. Also the removal should have happened sooner.. ( I'll say )
But because St Francis decided to again scapegoat others, I took them to court.. I couldn't find any lawyer to stand up for the kids,, NO money for them... So I found one for myself and asked, can your employer make you harm other people and rob them of opportunity for well being in the State of Connecticut ? Sadly because I quit and had no intent to sue, my case became dependent on this Hartford Police Officer who was suing the City.. The part of his case which ended my case was whether or not I could sue after resigning. The Hartford Cop lost his Connecticut Supreme Court Case 3 -2 and that 3-2 loss became my loss.. I had a court date with St Francis for Jan 2003 and they got away... Its okay, they were not as lucky with the Dr Reardon shame but ask yourself, of the 50 million dollars it is estimated to have cost, who pays that really ? Does St Francis float down from above and cut a check to the insurance companies ? Oh the day my attorney called to let me know police officer had lost, 3 - 2 ? March 22, 2002. the 4th year anniversary ... Don't worry, it gets better.. https://www.facebook.com/Cedarpalms
Anyway enjoy the pictures and its all built to tell time like a stonehenge... Brian

The student and a friend baked the cookies and shared them with at least nine classmates at their public charter high school near Sacramento on Oct. 4, said Davis Police Lt. Paul Doroshov. He said the Da Vinci Charter Academy students told some of their classmates that the cookies contained human ashes. He said investigators […]

Some said these numbers sound an alarm for state and school leaders.
