The former New Departure factory off Rt. 6 is a large century old complex consisting of multiple buildings that still display a testament to the power Bristol held in the automobile industry.

However, it has some present day secrets.

When you drive down Rt. 6 between Matthews Street and West Street, this is what’s going on behind the scenes.

HOUSTON — A cargo jetliner that crashed Saturday in Texas with three people aboard went into shallow water nose first, Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said.
