It’s almost December, which means the holiday season has officially begun. The New England Carousel Museum has tons of events to get you into the holiday spirit.
Members Holiday Party
Friday, December 2
5:30 – 7:30 PM
All members of the New England Carousel Museum and Bushnell Park Carousel are invited to join us for our annual Friends of the Carousel Holiday Party. The party will also include a brief annual membership meeting. Refreshments will be served. This event is free to members. Please RSVP by December 1st to 860-585-5411.
Take a Turn Around Bristol: A Holiday Progressive Dinner
Friday, December 9th

The American Clock & Watch Museum, Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center, and The New England Carousel Museum are partnering on a holiday progressive dinner, which will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016. At Take A Turn Around Bristol, foodies and museum lovers will take part in a one-of-a-kind collaboration between three of Bristol’s premier museums!
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with playful hors d’oeuvres served at the Imagine Nation. The next stop is the Carousel Museum for a buffet dinner with all the trappings. Finally, guests will have a sweet time enjoying coffee and dessert at the Clock & Watch Museum.
At each location, guests will enjoy drinks and music while viewing the museums galleries. Tickets are $50 per person and proceeds from this event will benefit the educational programming of the three museums.Tickets are available to purchase at all three museums and reservations are needed by December 5, 2016 to hold your place. Join us for the Snow Ball, a winter dance hosted by the New England Carousel Museum featuring The Al Fenton Big Band. Dress to impress and dance the night away is our beautiful ballroom, while you make memories to last a lifetime.
Pop in early for dance instruction with Prudence and Joel!

Sunday, December 11
12:00 – 4:00 PM
Join us for Family Sunday, on December 11th, from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM at the New England Carousel Museum! This monthly event features a children’s craft activity that changes each month. This month we are making snow globes! Along with participating in our craft activity, visitors can tour the Museum and ride our carousel. This is a great way for families to spend the day together and make wonderful memories!

New Year’s Eve Party

Ring in the New Year at the New England Carousel Museum! The museum will be hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Party on Saturday, December 31st. Come enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and dance the night away to live music by the Chaparrals.
The event begins and 7 PM and ends at 12:30 AM after we say goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017. Bring your favorite beverage to celebrate and partake in a midnight toast. Noise makers, hats and streamers will be distributed to attendees for this celebration.
