A large crowd is expected to attend the annual Super Bowl Sunday Bingo on Sunday, February 5, 2017. The bingo will again be held at St. Stan’s Church hall, 510 West Street, in Bristol, to benefit the New England Carousel Museum, a non-profit, educational and fun organization.
The bingo is scheduled as a pre-game event, ending in time to watch the Super Bowl football game. The doors at St. Stan’s Church Hall will open at 1:00 P.M., and the first bingo game will start at 2:15 P.M. 22 games will be played, with a total payout of $1,225.00.

Join us for Family Sunday, on February 12, from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM at the New England Carousel Museum! This monthly event features a children’s craft activity that changes each month. This month we are making Victorian Valentines! Along with participating in our craft activity, visitors can tour the Museum and ride our carousel. This is a great way for families to spend the day together and make wonderful memories!

The Carousel Museum will be open to the public on Presidents Day. Come enjoy a day of family friendly tours, a themed craft activity, a ride on our working indoor carousel, and scheduled story times at noon and 2:00 PM, all included with general admission.
Thursday, February 25

The New England Carousel Museum will be in full New Orleans-style celebration mode during its annual Mardi Gras party on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 7:30 PM – midnight. Come join us for an evening of fun and frolicking with great music, good food, bourbon, and beads.
The Big Easy evening features music by the Al Fenton Big Band and dancing in the magnificent museum ballroom. Along with a 50/50 raffle and live entertainment that will include face painters, temporary tattoos, balloon twisting and magic, there will be bourbon and wine tastings in the Speakeasy, beads and doubloons, and a catered dinner! This is a BYOB event.
Tickets are on sale at the Carousel Museum or you may order them by mail, by phone, or on-line. RSVP by Monday, February 20, 2017 by calling (860) 585-5411. The cost is $50 per person and pre-paid tables of 8 maybe reserved. The event will be held at the New England Carousel Museum, 95 Riverside Ave, Bristol, CT.
Winter Hours for the Bushnell Park Carousel
The Bushnell Park Carousel has begun Winter Hours for its hours of operation in the New Year. In February and March the Carousel will not be open during regular public hours, but will be available to rent for private events at any time. Normal public hours will resume on Saturday, April 1 with the Carousel open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm. Rent the new Function Room for your wedding, wine-tasting, meeting, or special event. During public hours, visitors to the carousel are able to delight in a 3 ½ minute spin on the Carousel for $1.00 per ride. Prepaid ticket books good for 30 rides are also available for $25.00. The Carousel sells tasty concessions, such as freshly popped popcorn, candy, chips, water, and soft drinks, for guests to enjoy during their visit.
