For Goodness Sake Appoints New Marketing Director

Pam Patterson Director of Marketing, For Goodness Sake, Inc.

For Goodness Sake, Inc  announce the appointment of Pam Patterson, a local Southington resident and experienced marketing professional, as the new volunteer Director of Marketing for the organization.

Ms. Patterson will be developing a marketing strategy to help For Goodness Sake continue to grow and communicate about the good it’s doing in the community. She will also manage day-to-day marketing activities, such as PR, website content, social media, print marketing, and branding.

For Goodness Sake collects gently used furniture and household good donations from the community and distributes them to families and individuals that are in need. Clients are referred to For Goodness Sake from local agencies and include people who are moving out of homeless shelters into their own apartments, escaping a domestic violence situation, fleeing from war and persecution as refugees, or getting back on their feet after a personal crisis such as addiction.

Founded in 2013, For Goodness Sake is growing rapidly and has served hundreds of people. Kendra Morales, President and Executive Director of FGS, commented, “We are very excited to welcome Pam to For Goodness Sake. There is so much need out there, and we’ve reached a point where we have to collect more donations and attract more volunteers so we can keep up with incoming requests. Pam will help us spread the word so For Goodness Sake can grow and we can help more people.”

Ms. Patterson has over 20 years of marketing experience and currently works as Product Marketing Manager, Offset Print, at Eastman Kodak Company.

For Goodness Sake is a 100% volunteer-run, 501c3 non-profit organization that partners with organizations to help people in Central Connecticut who are making the transition to independent living and in need due to certain life situations.

For Goodness Sake provides direct aid, such as furniture and household goods, making an empty space into a home. The organization serves families and individuals in Bristol, Burlington, Farmington, Harwinton, New Britain, Plainville, Plantsville, Plymouth, Southington, West Hartford, and Wolcott.
