Due to weather conditions, this year was a particularly difficult year to obtain a high yield of sap.
Thanks to Hop & Hammer Farms, Fire Fly was able to get enough sap to yet again brew their Wood Drip Imperial Maple Amber.
This is a beer that Fire Fly brewed last year using sap instead of water during the brew process.
Seen in the photos, Owner/Brewer Dana Bourque pouring sap freshly harvested from the taps with Nate Pierce from Hop & Hammer.
Also photographed is the boil part of the brew process, from the Wood Drip brew day.
