The 2017 New England Balloon Festival will take place at the Goshen Fairgrounds July 7 to July 9. The Balloon Festival offers five separate balloon launches over three days.

The event will also offer a Food Truck Festival this year. Organizers say “This will be one of the best, largest, and most unique experiences of food you will have.”

The Festival will also feature The Rookie of The Year Food Truck in the United States for 2016.

Trucks from New York City, Boston, and others throughout New England will be on hand.

Local vendors, artists, and unique items made by businesses throughout New England including maple syrup from Vermont will be available to event goers.

For the kids, there will be carnival rides, kids food, face painting, bounce houses, Disney Princesses, Paw Patrol, Mickey Mouse and Minions. Disney princesses will perform live throughout the weekend actively recruiting the kids to take part.

The Festival will also include live bands playing all weekend long featuring Rock, Country, Top 40 and more. Beer will flow offering local craft beer with exclusive limited batches throughout the weekend. Red and white wine will also be available.

Organizers say “Although we hope this year’s event will be the perfect weekend with beautiful weather, safety comes first. In light of poor weather, we still have plenty of other activities, performances and things going on to make this experience a great one.”

The New England Balloon Festival and North East Food Truck Festival is scheduled for Friday July 7th 2-10pm, Saturday July 8th 11am-10pm, and Sunday July 9th 8am-8pm at the Goshen Fairgrounds.
