Bristol Police report a lone suspect held up Jay’s Market, 238 King Street, on Thursday night at gunpoint and then fled the store on foot.
A cashier reported that the suspect demanded he hand over the money and then displayed a handgun.
The cashier was not injured during this incident. The cashier complied and the suspect took the money then ran out of the store heading north.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately six-feet tall and having a slim build. An undetermined amount of money was taken from the cash register.
The incident was investigated by both the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division with assistance by a K-9 Officer.
