The 51st season of “The Witch’s Dungeon Classic Movie Museum” starts on Friday, September 29th at 7:00 pm and October 1th at 10:00 pm.
The annual event features a live guided tour of the wax museum, displays of original movie props & makeup, plus 1960’s “Monster Craze” memorabilia, and screenings of classic horror on “reel film” not video.
The life-size figures and original movie props have been collected over a lifetime by Bristol native Cortlandt Hull, as a tribute to the actors and effects artists who have given a legacy of classic fantasy films will be on display.
The highly accurate figures are based on the classic films of Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Vincent Price, and others.
The “Witch’s Dungeon” is housed in the Bristol Historical Society building at 98 Summer Street in Bristol, CT and will be open every weekend evenings from September 29 through October.
A $6.00 donation is appreciated.
