On October 8 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, the Bristol Police Department, and the Bristol Explorer Program will participate in “Stuff A Cruiser”.
The event will be held at Walmart on Route 6 in Bristol to benefit Brian’s Angels Homeless Outreach.
Brian’s Angels was formed by Bristol resident Patricia Stebbins.
Her son Brian had a period of homelessness and a subsequent suicide.
“Brian’s Angels is very grateful to the Bristol Police Department, and we thank Chief Gould, Lt Guererra and Officer Franek for their time and preparation.” said Stebbins.
“In two short year, we have grown from cold water to critical supplies. It’s so very rewarding to help people who are down on their luck. Thanks to all the Bristol citizens who give so selflessly.”
Brian’s Angels desperately need Winter shoes and warm boots, warm socks, thermal underwear S-2XL, men’s and women’s underwear, hand warmers, backpacks, and Winter camping equipment — they are good on sleeping bags right now.
“It’s all about giving back, you never know if you will be in a bad situation one day.”
Brian’s Angels also supply toiletries, canned foods and more for the homeless and those most in need.
To get involved in Brian’s Angels, you can get more info here or call 860-506-5376.
