HARTFORD — Connecticut lawmakers are considering once again whether to require motorcycle drivers to wear helmets. Injured owl rescued in East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR — Now here is something to give a hoot about! An injured owl was found on Scantic Road by the East Windsor Public Works Department. They were plowing during the last storm. The bird was taken to the Roaring Brook Nature Center in Canton to recover from its injuries. According the East Windsor Police Department, the owl will be returned to Scantic road after it makes a full recovery.
