Giraffe dies in tragic accident at Kansas City Zoo

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Zoo announced Friday that, for the second time this week, a beloved animal has died. Hamisi, one of the zoo’s adult giraffes, died Wednesday morning due to a tragic accident, according to the zoo’s Facebook page. UConn Health say patients could be impacted by security breach

FARMINGTON – UConn Health said patients could be impacted by a data security incident. Officials said they learned an unauthorized third party illegally accessed a limited number of employee email accounts. In late December they found the accounts contained some personal information, including some individuals’ names, dates of birth, addresses and limited medical information, such as billing and appointment information. Stamford man convicted in drug compounding case that cost health care programs $1.5 million

NEW HAVEN — A Stamford man has been convicted by a federal jury of health care fraud offenses. Officials said Kwasi Gyambibi, 40, of Stamford, was found guilty when the jury returned its verdict this afternoon. Gyambibi was found guilty of two counts of health care fraud related to fraudulent prescriptions for compound drugs that were submitted to Advantage Pharmacy in March 2015, and found him not guilty of seven counts of health care fraud.
