On Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 7:00 PM, Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble, directed by Richard Theriault, will perform a free concert.
The concert will be held at Prospect United Methodist Church, 99 Summer Street in Bristol.
Another one of Bristol audience’s favorite musical groups, Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers will add their own special tunes to the evening.
Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble has planned some music to assure fun listening for audience members of all ages. The selections for this concert will have you in the mood to tap your feet and dance. Danzas Cubanas by Robert Sheldon, is a wonderful Latin dance piece, The Irish Washerwoman by Leroy Anderson, Big Band Bash which features songs from the Big Band era, includes Tuxedo Junction, Take the ‘A’ Train, and One O’clock Jump.
Your toe tapping will be mixed in with some exciting dramatic presentations to enjoy before the night is over, Overture To “Candide” by Leonard Bernstein, Star Wars by John Williams and a special musical presentation of “Casey at the Bat” featuring Bill Rodman as Casey and narration by Bob Adams.

NEW YORK — A New York City man faces multiple charges after he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend multiple times, killing their unborn baby, police said. Oscar Alvarez, 30, has been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon after he was accused of stabbing his girlfriend Liv Abreu, 30, Tuesday morning.
