Revaluation inspectors will be in Burlington through October and may be inspecting your property.
The inspectors have proper identification on their cars and person.
If you do not want anyone on your property, or if you have children that are home alone, please contact the Assessor’s office at 860-673-6789 x204 to set up an appointment.
The inspectors need access to the interior of your house so that the 2018 Revaluation will accurately reflect the square footage, etc. of your property to assure that you are taxed properly.
Without interior inspections, estimations must be made.
State statute requires inspections of properties be done every ten years.
