A special City Council Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 6:00pm at City Hall.
The agenda for the meeting includes the potential relocation of City Hall to 10 Main Street.
“We are evaluating all options as to how all buildings & projects relate to how the future pieces of the downtown puzzle all fit together. With the hospital building going up, the MBS magnet school funded, interest being expressed in some of the storefronts. Now, the Council & our professional staff need to assess whether the City has the capacity to undertake this project.” said Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu
The agenda will also review and authorization for the Juvenile Diversion Program, the Child Day Care Contract between the Bristol Preschool Child Care Center Inc. and the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood, the Connecticut State Library Historic Documents Preservation Disaster Recovery and Grant Programs.
