Republican contender for Governor Bob Stefanowski is bailing on a scheduled Thursday appearance on Where We Live.
Where We Live is the award-winning flagship news and talk program for WNPR. The program is hosted by Lucy Nalpathanchil.
The program posted on Facebook:
Update to our listeners: Bob Stefanowski has canceled his Thursday (10/25) appearance on our show. Read the statement from his campaign below.
The Facebook post caused a lively debate with Colin McEnroe chiming in. McEnroe is a columnist and radio personality. He hosts The Colin McEnroe Show on Connecticut Public Radio.
Based on Stefanowski’s public schedule, ESPN in Bristol is planned to be the next stop.
This isn’t the first time Stefanowski’s availability has been brought into question. The Courant asked Where’s Bob Stefanowski?
The Courant says Stefanowski has spent the majority of the governor’s race avoiding scheduled appearances and media scrutiny.
ESPN and staff of Stefanowski was asked for clarification. Neither responded before the publication of this post.
