Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol is inviting the public to join them as we bid farewell to 2018 and ring in the New Year!
“We’ll celebrate cultures and traditions from countries around the world on Monday, December 31st from 10:00am until 2:00pm.”
Festivities include creating masks and noisemakers, a visit from Father Time, music and dancing, a photo booth, and lots more hands-on fun! March in our very own New Year’s parade at 11:30am. Following the parade, gather in Imagine Nation Times Square and count down for the ball drop, complete with confetti and balloons, at 12:00 noon!
Admission is $12.00/person, $6.00 for members. Tickets are now for sale through www.ImagineNation.org/calendar, Imagine Nation’s Facebook page, and eventbrite. Please note: Library and ACM passes will not be accepted for this event.
Imagine Nation will close for the day at 2:00 p.m.
Due to the popularity of this event, please arrive by 11:30am to ensure enough time to participate in the festivities.
Additional parking is available in the Upson Street commuter lot and in the lot across from Imagine Nation on Church Street.

BLOOMFIELD — Bloomfield police are looking for Mabel Perry-Pounds, a missing 89-year-old. She’s described as a black female with gray hair and brown eyes. She is about 5’7″ and weighs around 140 pounds. No picture was provided. She was last seen Sunday wearing a grey house coat, and carrying a purse and walking cane. Police ask if you have any information on Mabel’s whereabouts to contact them at 860-242-5501.
