Let your children experience a first-hand parade in reverse. Participants walk the parade route past the entertainers who line the route.
The events and parade are on December 8 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Federal hill Green.
All Bristol Residents are welcome to attend and participate in the annual children’s parade and activities.
If you go:
6:00 to 6:45 – Children’s Parade (Reverse parade where the kids walk the route with bags and during the route vendors fill the bags with goodies — candy, pencils, coloring books, etc.)
6:30/6:45 to 7:15 – Webster Bank Carol Sing (MC’ed by Maria Salice) with Santa in the Gazebo (Sponsored by Shaffer Company). At the same time, we will have Wojtusik’s Reindeer Train (weather pending, softness of the ground), the Fire Department with a lit up truck and serving Hot Chocolate.
For food, we have confirmed that the ESPN and the Salvation Army are teaming together to sell:
Rice & Beans, Spanish Roast Pork, Small Salad, Cubanos, Chicken Tenders & Fries, Tostones
7:00 to 7:30 – A house band concert will be performing inside First Congregational Church, while the carol sing is ending. At the same time there will be Arts & Crafts including letter writing to Santa.
7:30 to 9:00 – Greg Hahn (Bristol Brass) and local talent including singers, musicians and more will be performing Holiday songs inside First Congregational Church.

MANSFIELD — Peter Tork, the bassist for The Monkees and a jokester on the band’s popular 1960s television series, has died at age 77. NEWARK, N.J. – A school bus driver was arrested after she overdosed while driving and crashed into a tree, Newark police said.
